2025 Week 7 Football Picks

THIS WEEKS PICKS (SEPTEMBER 25th/26th)

7PM Carson Senators (1-3) @ North Valleys (0-5)

Carson Wins 45-0

Lynns Take: Look for a big night from Carson running back Johnathan Alvarado who is averaging 168 yards per game

Doc’s Prognosis: The Blair Roman bowl pits The Senators and Panthers against one another as they both teams look to establish themselves with league play kicking off this week. I’m gonna give the slight edge to The Panthers because they are hosting Tonight’s game.

  • Reeves’ Pick: Carson 28-14

  • Dockter’s Pick: North Valleys 24-21

  • Ault's Pick: Carson 28-21

  • Raggio's Pick: Carson

7PM Bishop Manogue Miners (2-3) @ Galena Grizzlies (3-1)

Lynns Take: Yes, Manogue has a losing record, but those losses were to highly ranked California teams. Look for Manogue to get back to .500 and start the quest for another league title this week at Galena.

Doc’s Prognosis: The Grizz have started off this season really well after having had to replace a plethora of talent from last year’s Senior class but The latest group of Grizzlies have proven they’ve been up to the task thus far in the season. Unfortunately, they play a Bishop Manogue team that is gaining steam as the league season begins, The Miners should roll in this one.

  • Reeves’ Pick: Bishop Manogue 49-7

  • Dockter’s Pick: Bishop Manogue 41-7

  • Ault's Pick: Bishop Manogue 45-14

  • Raggio's Pick: Bishop Manogue

7PM Spring Creek Spartans (3-2) @ Churchill County (Fallon) Greenwave (5-0)

Lynns Take: CCHS have not allowed a score since week one, look for that defensive dominance to continue.

Doc’s Prognosis: The Spartans are trending in the wrong direction the last few weeks while The Greenwave are coming off a bye and will look to continue their dominance during the back half of their league season.

  • Reeves’ Pick: Fallon 49-21

  • Dockter’s Pick: Fallon 45-6

  • Ault's Pick: Fallon 33-7

  • Raggio's Pick: Fallon

7PM Damonte Ranch Mustangs (2-2) @ Douglas Tigers (1-3)

Lynns Take: Damonte’s season has been all about big wins or big losses. Douglas has had a couple close games. Damonte finally wins a close one.

Doc’s Prognosis: A battle of two teams looking to get their season’s going in the right direction as league play is upon us. This game is a toss up for me but I’ll roll with The Tigers in this one due to the fact that they are at home.

  • Reeves’ Pick: Douglas 31-28

  • Dockter’s Pick: Douglas 21-20

  • Ault's Pick: Damonte Ranch 35-28

  • Raggio's Pick: Damonte Ranch

7PM Wooster Colts (0-5) @ Hug Hawks (0-4)

Lynns Take: Both teams looking for their first win of the year, thinking WOOSTER gets it this week.

Doc’s Prognosis: A battle that dates back as long as I can remember. Both of these squads come into this game seeking their first win and I believe The Colts are going to give Head Coach David Tietjen his first victory as a Varsity Head Coach.

  • Reeves’ Pick: Wooster 31-28

  • Dockter’s Pick: Wooster 14-13

  • Ault's Pick: Wooster 21-14

  • Raggio's Pick: Wooster

7PM McQueen Lancers (3-2) @ Reno Huskies (3-2)

Lynns Take: Game of the week material. McQ have wins over Damonte, Foothill, and Union Mine and close losses to Reed and Manogue. Reno dropped games to Manogue and Spanish Springs after beating Sequoia, Foothill, and Palo Verde. These schools don’t like each other and this should be a four-quarter battle.

Doc’s Prognosis: A preview of what I believe will be The Northern 4A Regional Championship Game pits two storied programs who are having resurgent seasons on the backs of great senior classes will be an instant classic I believe.

  • Reeves’ Pick: Reno 31-24

  • Dockter’s Pick: McQueen 35-34

  • Ault's Pick: Reno 35-31

  • Raggio's Pick: Reno

7PM Reed Raiders (3-1) @ Spanish Springs Cougars (5-0)

Lynns Take: For years, these have been close, hard-fought matchups and this one will be no different.

Doc’s Prognosis: A matchup / rivalry game in its 25th year will give us an idea on which one of these squads will be Bishop Manogue’s biggest challenger this year.

  • Reeves’ Pick: Reed 42-38

  • Dockter’s Pick: Spanish Springs 34-28

  • Ault's Pick: Spanish Springs 31-27

  • Raggio's Pick: Spanish Springs
